a group

To help you organize visits with a group of adults or schoolchildren in the museums of Bayeux, a booking service is at your disposal. A group consists of at least 20 people. Don’t forget to ask for the Bayeux Museum Pass to visit several museums with a special discount for groups.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The Bayeux Tapestry Museum will close its doors to the public, for renovation work, from September 2025. Reopening planned for spring 2027. Thank you for your understanding.

History and the great battles 1066-1944

• The Bayeux Tapestry (audio-guided, 45 min to 1 hour 1/2)
• The Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy (self-guided, 1 hour to 2 hours)

History and art “from the Middle ages to the impressionist period”

• The Bayeux Tapestry (audio-guided, 45 min to 1 hour 1/2)
• The MAHB – Baron Gérard Art and History Museum (self-guided, 1 hour to 2 hours)

To visit the museums of Bayeux in the best conditions for your group,  you can pre-book your visit online or contact the reservation department and precise which museum you want to visit, the date and time of your coming and your contact details. A confirmation will be sent with the date and time of your visit. If canceled or delayed, it is required to call museums reservations department as soon as possible.

Free parking available 150m from the Bayeux Tapestry Museum with 30 spaces and a rest room for drivers.
8 spaces are reserved for buses in front of the Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy.
